Please see below for details on our next session in the series β€˜A Kitchen Table Dialogue on Africa and the Future of Work: How Innovators are Responding to the Needs of the 21st Century.

November 24, 2020 – 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM AST

This webinar is the seventh in a series exploring some of the key forces that are redefining work as we know it today

In this discussion Alim Ladha, Founder of Instill Education, will join Misan Rewane, co-founder of WAVE (West Africa Vocational Education) and the IMPACT Initiative, and Sharmi Surianarain, Chief Impact Officer of Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator, in sharing insights from their front-line work in building a new education and skiling ecosystem in Africa.

By way of contextual background, our guest speakers will explain some of the key macro-level trends that are shaping the African continent and other emerging markets, and the implications for the education sector in particular.

They will then share the key pathways social innovators like them are pursuing to address these challenges, highlighting some of the interesting models that are materializing.

Sharmi, Misan and Alim will also share their own personal reflections on the subject including the habits, practices and mindsets they have adopted to be future-ready.

Please join us for what promises to be an engaging conversation!
