We are excited to share the news that the Province of Nova Scotia has partnered with How We Thrive to create a bursary fund that opens the door to 50 people who couldn’t otherwise attend the upcoming How We Thrive learning event (June 2-5, MSVU). Please forward this announcement to those in your network who would be keen to take advantage of this opportunity.
The bursaries reduce the fee to $30 and will be awarded based on the following criteria:
- You live in Nova Scotia.
- You work or volunteer for a small non-profit or social enterprise OR you are applying as an individual (e.g., community volunteer, student).
- You want to connect and learn with others who are passionate about their communities and engaged in making a difference.
- You have read through the Thrive home page and 2019 website and feel this gathering is right for you.
- You are able to take part in the full four days.
You need the bursary in order to attend.
The deadline is May 3rd, and successful applicants will be notified by May 10th.
