The Centre for Employment Innovation (CEI) at St. Francis Xavier University, in partnership with the Coady Institute, welcomes interest in the position of Collective Impact for Inclusive Youth Employment (CIIYE) Coordinator.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic group of individuals working towards a “full and abundant life for all.” Together, we strive to build safe, welcoming and inclusive spaces and commit to the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice, at our workplace and in community.

The CIIYE initiative aims to support 15 diverse, young people (ages 18-34) from across Nova Scotia into meaningful employment. This initiative will incorporate best practices in labour force attachment as well as workforce and leadership development in order to best support the participating employers and young people.

The CIIYE Coordinator will work in collaboration with CEI staff, the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education, Nova Scotia Works, the CIIYE’s community-based Advisory Group, and other community partners to facilitate the development, implementation and administration of the CIIYE initiative.
